The Geoff Shergold Memorial Cyclocross race meeting was another tremendous success for Crabwood CC, and for a change the weather was fantastic. In all, 379 riders of all ages entered for the day racing, the best total for many a year, with the riders producing some exciting racing, on a redesigned course, incorporating some sections of the sports centre we haven’t used in years.

We have received numerous positive remarks for our course and event management, from the riders. A big thank you to all the Club Members and Club Friends who turned out, over two days, to help with all the work that needs to be done; Claire Newman, Barbara Hargroves, Fran Joyce, Maria Golden, Steve Curtis, Martin Springer, Garry Evans, Pete Hargroves, Pat Lafford, Simon Hall, Ethan Wallace, Matthew Hargroves, Mike Anderson, John Winchester, Colin Witt, Paul Hudson.
