Thank you to everyone who responded to the survey we ran at the end of last season. We are presenting a summary of the results here so it may inspire some discussion and proposals at the AGM.

We had 159 responses, mainly Open V40/50/60 riders. Of the respondents most try to ride most of the rounds:

Looking at the 50 responses from people who do not race regularly (former riders or 1-3 rounds/season) spare time, location and costs are a factor as well as the hard/technical nature of some courses.

The committee are always looking at ways of maintaining/reducing costs (e.g. prize money reduction over the last few seasons) and welcome any suggestions. We are also looking for new venues that are closer to more populated areas and with better transport options so if you know of somewhere that would host a Wessex event then please contact the committee.
