The new cross season is upon us! As you may have noticed, we have a new title sponsor of the league and are proud to welcome HUPcc into the metaphorical Wessex family. Round 1, Opening Weekend, Clanfield

Solent Pirates are our hosts for Round 1 at Clanfield this Sunday.
They’ve got a great, tough-but-fun course laid out and waiting for you to bed in ready for their hosting of the National Trophy Championships next January.
Hopefully the inter club Youth CX training session being held there today (Saturday) will leave the course in pristine condition for Sundays racing.

On arrival at the venue, collect your shiny new personalised* number at the Sign-On. (*personalised if you registered prior to the deadline). Don’t throw it away after the race; You keep it for the rest of the season, (but you can get a spare if needed). If you didn’t register, you still pick up a number from Sign-On, but it’ll change week-on-week.

Round 2, Southampton Sports Centre

Go enjoy yourselves putting all the summertime training into proper racing (You did train over summer, right? …. Right??), and we’ll see you at Southampton next weekend for the Sotonia Round 2 event, assuming you don’t forget to enter before midnight this Tuesday!
