The Fareham Wheelers event on the 14th December 2014 will be a first for the Wessex League and will be using chip timing to produce the results.
Local timing company Black Sheep Timing will be doing the timing. They have a track record in cyclo-cross and have been chip timing the West Midlands CX league for four seasons now.
To help Phill and the team it would be really helpful (and cheaper!) if riders pre-enter via the British Cycling Website.
The chip timing system will work as follows.
At the sign-on desk you will be given a race number to pin to your jersey as usual. You will also collect a timing chip from Black Sheep at the same time and this fastens via velcro around your ankle. Black Sheep will hold your BC Racing Licence whilst you have the timing chip.
At the end of the race please return your race number and timing chip to the sign on desk.
After the race the results will be posted to the Black Sheep website HERE. The results are usually available to view by early evening on the day of the race.
