Commissaire Training Course

British Cycling are organising a Training course for anyone who would like to become a Commissaire, if you have thought about this now is the time to come forward.

The course is a one day event and will be held on Saturday 31st August 2019 at  West Lavington Village Hall, Sandfield, West Lavington, Devizes, Wiltshire, SN10 4HL.

Course will be from 10.00am to 5.00pm.

You have to be a British Cycling member to take part, you only need a Bronze Membership

Once you have completed the course you will be a Trainee Commissaire and you then will attend CX events under the wing of Regional or National Commissaires. You will get a Log Book and assessed on various tasks that Commissaire undertake. Once you have done all these tasks to the required standard you return Log Book to BC and you become a Regional Commissaire and can do Commissaire duties at any local race.

Wessex Cyclo Cross have a good crew of Commissaires but we could do with a few more so the work load gets spread around a bit more. At the moment we have a few doing a lot and we want more a lot doing little or something like that, I may even be able to race more and improve on my one race I did last season.
