Please be aware that one of the main approach roads to the venue has been closed for resurfacing work (Faringdon Road off Marcham Road).
Currently they have diversions in place which will take you on the alternative route marked by RED arrows in the attached document. This route adds only 5 miniutes to your journey is has been clearly signed by the council with big yellow signs. It will bring you in at the top end of the Faringdon Road and allow you to access Barrow Road and the Airfield entrance.
There is also an alternative route to the entrance, marked on the attached map by the BLACK arrows…this route takes about 3-4 minutes. This route is NOT marked by the council but is an alternative and may be a better option for people heading in from the North or East of Abingdon.
If in any doubt then best to probably follow the signed diversion.
Neither diversion is a problem, but do please allow a few extra minutes and also take a moment to look at your Sat Nav or Map when you get close.
