The weekend of 10th/11th November doesn’t have a Wessex League race on the calendar as the weekend is reserved for the Inter-Area Championships at Milton Keynes.

On Sunday 11th November CX Sportif are organising an off-road sportif using roads, trails and byways around Salisbury.  Various routes are on offer 80km, 60km and 40km.

For those not riding the Inter-Area Championships but looking for a local race or event this cyclo-cross orientated sportif may be an interesting option.

Roughly it is a non-competitive ride starting from Salisbury race course and following a circuit of on and off road trails to the west of Salisbury.   The 80km ride starts 9:00 to 9:30, includes 1100m of climbing, and a 20% maximum gradient.

NOTE:  This is not a Wessex League event but may appeal to cyclo-cross riders as there is no Wessex League race on this weekend.
