Steve James (Hargroves Cycles) the Under 23 National champion and leader of the trophy series took a fine win at the Thruxton Motor racing circuit in Hampshire. From the start he was in a group of four strong riders but he pulled away with Adrain Lansley (Pedal On) after a couple of laps and then made the decisive move with a lap to go.
