On Sunday 30th December the Salisbury Plain Area Mountain Bikers (SPAM) will again be putting on the popular Winter Challenge. Starting from Erlestoke near Devizes the ride uses the hard pack trails over Salisbury Plain. The route is not too technical so can be ridden on a cyclo-cross bike. Route options include 50km, 35km or 25km. This event normally attracts a large entry and is a fun non-competitive event for the winter holiday week.
