At the Wessex League Round 7 promoted by the Reading CC there were prizes available down to twelfth place in the Vet’s 40+, seventh place in the Vet’s 50+ and tenth in the Seniors race. There are eleven unclaimed prizes which if the are not claimed by 3 November they will be will forfeited. The Wessex League Round 3 will be hosted on the Isle of Wight this year. The cyclo-cross race is part of a series of cycling events in the Isle of Wight Cycling Festival. The cyclo-cross race takes place on the Saturday and on the Sunday is the Cycle The Wight Sportive, a 70 mile or 50 mile ride around the island. The sportive makes an excellent endurance ride so make the most of it and come to the island for the weekend. In addition there is a 14 mile off-road night ride on the Friday evening.
